Why did you chose that course?

Disease is very common – research could help therapeutic outcomes for patients. Up and coming field, wide applicability to lots of other diseases,

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

At school, grew up close to Tideway and school on river so natural to try it. Love the rhythm of the boat when running well, working together in close knit unit in the boat, pushing myself to physical limit

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

Chris Hoy – Cycling

How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?

Made me a lot busier! Also made some incredible friends through rowing and already in the CUBC squad. Rowing in a such a high performance atmosphere made me believe that I can achieve things I thought might not be possible.
