Roesie Percy has been severely visually impaired since birth, and can only see in the far right corner of her left eye, having no sight in her right eye.
As a photographer, she looks for shapes, focusing on bold colours, unable to search for details because she is unable to see them. Her images taken at Henley Royal Regatta, Newcastle University Boat Club as well as an indoor training gym at Edinburgh University are very popular and offer a unique perspective on athletes.
We were delighted to arrange for Roesie and colleagues from The Times to join Oxford University Boat Club training at Wallingford and also on a launch on the River Thames last week.
