About Natasha:
What is your reason for your course choice?
The interdisciplinary course looks at aspects of physics and materials science that have exciting real life applications. I am looking forward to applying my undergraduate theoretical knowledge into a more applied course and seeing how this could lead onto a career in the area. It will be interesting to deepen my understanding in the field of nanotechnology where there are so many lifesaving and sustainability solutions being developed currently at a fast pace and to understand how the business side relates to the science.
When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?
In my first year of university in 2018 at Durham University Boat Club. After competing in so many sports growing up but never fully committing to one, I wanted to try something new that I could really give my all. I loved it from the first session and have not looked back!
