What course are you studying and what level?

MPhil History of Art and Architecture

Why did you chose that course?

Wasn’t ready to leave Cambridge, and I thought it would make a refreshing change from Classics. Plus I want to feel superior to people in art galleries.

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

Started at Lea RC in Hackney in 2017, because my dad thought I might be good at it.

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

Noam Mouelle

How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?

Has changed my life completely – I think it’s given me purpose over the last few years at a time when I otherwise might’ve been directionless
