What course are you studying and what level?

BA in Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Russian)

Why did you chose that course?

I was really interested by Russian political history and wanted to learn the language alongside French that I learnt at school.

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

I started at Queens’ College Boat Club in October 2021 and really enjoyed the competitive nature of the sport and getting the chance to keep fit and healthy alongside friends from university.

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

Watching the Beijing Olympics in 2008

How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?

Great team atmosphere where everyone can push themselves – great to be a part of and learn from for working life
