What is your reason for your course choice?

I love the problem solving aspect of computer science, and how it is constantly evolving as a subject.

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

I started rowing in 2016 at Runcorn Rowing Club. I started because the coach came to our school to recruit and my twin sister said “I’ll go if you go”. I love the team culture and that you always have something to learn.

What was your first rowing club and coach?

Runcorn Rowing Club, Heather Folwell.

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

I remember being very inspired by Jessica Ennis-Hill at London 2012.

What sport did you prioritise growing up?

I did a lot of different sports until I was about 12, from then I prioritised rowing.

What is your favourite non-academic book?

Very good jeeves
