What course are you studying and what level?
Medicine Graduate-Entry (BM BCh)
Why did you chose that course?
Throughout my undergrad in chemistry, I always found the links to medicine the most exciting part of the course. During this course I’m able to combine my scientific knowledge with my problem solving skills, in a way that can have a direct positive impact on people
When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?
I wasn’t very good at the other sports offered by the school, so thought I’d give rowing a try, and here we are eleven years later …
What was your first rowing club and coach?
Jon Neville/Colin Greenaway at Hampton School
What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?
London 2012 was a huge inspiration for me in terms of being able to see so much GB sporting success, specifically Max Whitlock and Laura Kenny
How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?
It has allowed me to make friends with so many incredible people, who have the same desire to succeed, which helps drive me on
