I like problem solving and finding out how things work

I started rowing when I was 14 at Westminster, I thought I’d give it a go since all my friends did it. I love the friendships you make training together.

Nick Wilde and Matt Harris at Westminster School Boat Club

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

Never really had one

How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?

It’s given me a structure that I can always count and rely on
