Get ready to raise the roof when the crews are officially announced ahead of The Gemini Boat Race 2024.
Battersea Power Station, made from 6 million bricks and large enough to fit St Paul’s Cathedral inside without touching the sides, is the perfect place to bring together two rowing powerhouses to announce their crew members in one final face off before they next see each other at the start line on 30th March 2024.
The best bit?
Everyone is welcome!
We’re hosting a public event for fans, friends & family to join the alumni, VIPs and special guests (plus BBC legend Andrew Cotter) to kickstart the hype for the 2024 race and celebrate the achievement of all those athletes who have earned their place in a Blue Boat.
With activities starting in the grand Turbine Hall B from 4pm, visitors will be able to have their photos taken with the beautiful Boat Race trophies, then at 6pm we’ll be inviting some incredible alumni to the stage to answer your questions and at 7:30pm we’ll get into the real business and learn the names of this year’s crews as well as hear from the coaches.
Packed with restaurants, food halls and bars, Battersea Power Station is the perfect place to meet friends after work and whether you’re an Oxford or Cambridge fan we know you’re going to make sure they feel your full support before they go into the final few days of training before The Gemini Boat Race 2024.
